About Catherine Job

My name is Catherine Job and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Alabama. I have a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, and family conflict. I have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, clients with AIDS/HIV, Veterans and First responders.
My approach to therapy is client centered which means that I believe therapy is a collaboration between the client and the therapist. I ask clients to identify what their goals are for therapy. I use cognitive behavioral approaches in sessions to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. Once a client understands these, they can move towards making changes and living an emotionally healthier and happier life. My clients have described me as very approachable, nonjudgmental and empathetic.
